You will have the opportunity to pie your "target of choice" by making a donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Waterloo Region, a not-for-profit organization which helps children and youth reach their full potential in life. Many organizations are led by professional accountants. Do you want to be a CFO or a CEO? Are you interested in learning more about how to leverage an education in accounting and financial management to launch a career toward becoming a corporate executive? If so, we’ve got great news. The Chartered for Leadership in Industry Conference (CLIC) will be the first conference that aims to advance the professional development of students aspiring to a CPA designation and to positions of corporate leadership. CLIC was invented by four founding collaborators: CPA Ontario, FEI Canada, SAF, and AFSA.
Last week CLIC announced a new launch timeframe, May 2015, and introduced news of the events and volunteerism opportunities to junior students. This week, CLIC will continue to recruit talented upper year students help to drive the initiative and will be having a dedicated application period for upper year SAF students.
