AFSA Presents: A Day in the Sun
Enjoy one last summer event before exams start - join us at Bingeman's Big Splash Water Park! With an all access pass, you can ride all their water slides, play mini golf, climb ropes or simply relax in the largest wave pool in Waterloo. Tickets also include transportation to the park leaving from Hagey Hall.
Busses will leave HH at 10:00 am and will return at 4:00 pm.

Finance Workshop with Steve Balaban
Are you interested in a career in finance? Not sure what area of finance you want to pursue?
Come out and hear from Steve Balaban, Founder and Chief Investment Officer at Mink Capital, who will share his insight on pursuing a career in private equity. Joining Steve will be two current SAF students that have had co-op experiences in private equity. Mink Capital is a private equity group focused on acquiring small-to-medium sized companies with strong cash flows. He is an inspiring speaker on the subjects of private equity and entrepreneurship, and serves as a member of the CFA Private Client Committee and the CFA Mentorship Committee.

UWMCC CEO Factory
The CEO Factory is definitely one of the UWMCC's (University of Waterloo Management Consulting Club) most anticipated events. With the main recruiting season coming up, this event will bring together both students and the industry’s leading management consulting firms. The event will consist of both a panel discussion and a networking session. Students will be able to gain insight into a career in Management Consulting and a chance to expand their professional networking while also allowing firms to learn more about the skills and ideas Waterloo students can offer.

The University of Waterloo currently lacks an editorialized long-form business publication. We would like to assess the number of students who would see value in such a publication, either as a platform to express their business views or to gain insight in the dynamic world of business through their fellow peers.
