ScareSAF Video Contest

ScareSAF is a video contest taking place on the week of October 27th to the 31st. In this video contest students will take 6-10 second videos of themselves scaring other students and members of the SAF community and then upload them onto this page: www.facebook.com/scaresaf You can upload the videos to Twitter and use #ScareSAF as well. The uploader with the most posts each day will win free Chatime drink tickets. Additionally, every day we will have a special target to scare. The best scare video as determined by our judges on the daily targets will also win a free Chatime drink tickets.

Network of Empowered Women 3rd Annual Business Conference

Tips for First years

AFSA Internal Services is hosting Tips For First Years. A lot of upper years will be there, so this will be a great chance for you to talk with them. We will have four rotating stations and each will last around half an hour. The stations are: How To Network, Dress For Success, Importance of Social Networking, and Mix And Mingle. As always, drinks and snacks will be provided. We hope to see you all there. XD Registration starts at 5:30pm. Please invite all your friends to come. AFSA Referendum

AFSA is holding a referendum vote to give you the chance to decide what you want to do with your money. It will be held online from Wednesday Oct. 22 – Thursday Oct.23, 2014. AFSA will be bringing the results of the vote to the Board of Governors for approval and if passed, the levy will be introduced Winter 2015 contingent on AFSA being recognized as FEDs society. Why should you vote yes in the referendum? -NO CHANGES to amount per student (still voluntary $50) -MORE MONEY to spend on you, the students

There will be an information session to debrief and allow students to ask any questions on Monday Oct. 20, room TBD.

Ask our executives and board members face-to-face during our “office hours” in the SAF lounge Thursday Oct. 16 , Friday Oct. 17, Monday Oct. 20 and Tuesday Oct. 22 from 11:30am-1:30pm.
