The Network of Empowered Women at the University of Alberta aims to connect undergraduate business students with successful female business professionals and other talented, ambitious students from across the country as a means of fostering meaningful networks and connections that will inspire young women to pursue any path that they choose for their futures. The main way they try to achieve this is by hosting an annual national conference; this year it will be held at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise on January 23-26. Last year there were students from 10 different schools from across Canada and it would be great to have representatives from uWaterloo this year!
