Telfer's Financial Society Case Competition

The University of Ottawa Telfer School of Management Finance is looking for two teams of three to compete at their Financial Society Case Competition on March 8th, 2014. This competition is entering its seventh year of existence and it has already grown to become the largest and most prestigious undergraduate financial case competition in Ontario. The competition will take place at the Telfer School of Management. The dinner and social events will take place around downtown Ottawa and the awards gala will be held at an elegant venue nearby.The fee for each team is $360. This includes meals, 2-night accommodation at the Courtyard Marriott, and the competition itself. This year’s itinerary features a single case, with a 4-hour case analysis, immediately followed by a 20-minute presentation to the judges. The case itself is focused on Venture Capitalism. The following awards and networking gala will be a time to network with other competitors, judges, sponsors, and finance professionals. Board of Directors Application

As mentioned before exam season, a Board of Director has stepped down from their role within AFSA. AFSA is looking for another individual to carry on the duties of a Board of Director from now until the end of the AFSA fiscal year (end of spring 2014 term). The Board of Directors are keen on applicants who are motivated, self starters, have an interest in (student) government/business law, and last but not least, put (or demonstrate the willingness to put) the general well-being of SAF students before themselves.
Applications will be due December 28th, 2013, 11:59 pm.

Once submitted, your application will be forwarded to the current Board of Directors, who will be selecting interview candidates for the week of December 29th.
