Position you are running for: VICE PRESIDENT Education

What do you believe are the main concerns for students in SAF right now? How would you like to approach fixing them?

Due to coming out of high school from covid, most of us haven't had the proper practice to build a strong foundation for studying. This can make everyone feel extreme pressure with daunting midterms and finals. I would like to provide a system where students can get a reliable study source that can aid them through such stressful times. I also want students to have an easy access to answer their questions instead of having extreme long lines at office hours with a online Q/A poll.

Why are you running for this position? (experience, background & motivation)

I am running for this position as someone who wants to help and bring change to SAF Students. As the Education Deputy I have had experience with the ups and downs of making study packages and running study sessions and have learned ways to improve and become efficient with these tasks that can benefit my fellow SAF students. I also have had experience in teaching and tutoring previously so I have learned ways to adapt the study material in a very understandable way.

As the current Deputy Vice President of Education, I understand all the ups and downs of making study packages and running study sessions. I have learned new methods to improve the study packages so I can help you get the most RELIABLE, EFFECTIVE and USEFUL study material for upcoming exams. I hope to make AFSA Education an anchor to SAF's students to alleviate the exam stress.
